Clustering

CLUSFIND (Finding Groups in Data: an Introduction to Cluster Analysis - Datasets CLUSFIND)
A library of FORTRAN programs that perform robust clustering methods, containing:
  1. DAISY: Computing dissimilarities between objects with different types of variables
  2. PAM (Partitioning Around Medoids): Partitioning using the k-medoid method
  3. CLARA (Clustering Large Applications): Partitioning large data sets
  4. FANNY (Fuzzy Analysis): Fuzzy partitioning
  5. TWINS: Agglomerative clustering (AGNES) and divisive clustering (DIANA)
  6. MONA (Monothetic Analyis): Monothetic analysis using binary variables
CLUSPLOT (Papers 1999 - Abstract - Paper - Datasets CLUSPLOT)
An SPLUS program that represents the objects as points in a bivariate plot and the clusters as ellipses of various sizes and shapes.

CLUSPLUS (Papers 1986 - Abstract - Papers 1997 - Abstract - Paper)
A library of SPLUS programs that perform robust clustering methods.
It contains the same programs as in CLUSFIND, but provides more graphical features.
The program CLUSPLOT is also incorporated in this library.
Last updated April 1998.
